The scan device is a device used by Tau'ri for analysis of energy.

Overview

This scanning device was created by the Tau'ri to scan energy fields, such as radiation, and analyze the energy signatures.

History

In 2008 Dr. Jennifer Keller took a scanner to Talus and scanned the shrine discovering that the shrine was emitting Ionizing radiation. (SGA: "The Shrine")
